| SHYLO is a global creative collective, formed in 2009 by Kai Zastrow. SHYLO constists of members from all over the planet with diverse backgrounds and skills. Most of its group members currently work in SHYLO projects and various solo projects. SHYLO refuses the label "supergroup", based on size or the ubiquity of their members, claiming that in todays world, if you wanna work with the best you are involved in more than one project. SHYLO's work could be considered a combination of all of its members' respective projects. NIKE_WORLDCUP_2O1Ôø‡Ôø‡zil_EPISODE 1: new & fresh SHYLO work: the good boys from nike germany asks us to do a bang for the football worldcup in their country. the obvious player for that is a man with a big future in 'die mannschaft': Mesut Ôø‡Ôø‡zil. we came up with a documentary spread over the year 2010 and call it 2O1Ôø‡Ôø‡zil. so here episode 1. soccer kids from germany spreading the uncommon letter Ôø‡Ôø‡ and the two dots into the country. music by JUSTICE and SIMIAN MOBILE. idea and directed by SHYLO member KAI ZASTROW. produced by SHYLO member ALEX from SINGAPORE. and yes, now he likes german food. above the short 3 minute version. the 4.5 minute music video length uploaded here soon. come back and bring your sing-song skills with you. a bang needs a second bang. more episodes to come very soon. |

Here one of those web popular third-person-introductions: SHYLO is born. founded in fall 2009. headed by kai zastrow (the one on the left). the one in the middle is vilja, our happiest and best and on the right from our NYC outpost luca. Just released and already nearly 700.000 hits on you tube and a crazy amount of pr in german and international blogs and press. thanks all of you for watching and sparing us from mad comments. hope you guys like it. SHYLO's KAI ZASTROW had the idea and directed the future-docu. We took 21 year old football player MESUT OEZIL and made him look like an old retired player. lots of latex on his face and some pretty grey wigs and moustaches (that's stil strangely a must, if my mirror says: i look cool. somehow like my father). anyway, MESUT OEZIL was doing great, thank you MESUT for your patience, while latex drips in your eyelid. also a big hello to KINGS OF CONVENIENCE, they are one of our favourite bands and we are happy we could win them for this project. have fun with the clip and see you in the future...maybe. SHYLO is blocking the streets in NYC meat packing district during fashion week fall 09. the busdriver liked the painting. he said: "that dude, looks like uncle pauly back in the 80th and 50 pound less fat." congratukation SEF you entered NYC as a uncle pauly look alike. and yes, a good bunch of the right blogs picked it up and spread it to the people we wanted to reach. |

SHYLO member KAI worked as a creative on this in san francisco for chiat/day and fox sports tv. kai made the concept. all around twins conjoined at the finger. two brother stuck together 24 hours a day. one is a local fan, one is a fan of whatever team is winning at the moment. and that gives some heat. you have siblings? be happy not being glued to them. check out more here: KAI ZASTROW |

| SHYLO member KAI ZASTROW wrote some years ago a sentence, which became the global tagline for adidas: IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING. ADIDAS. Kai worked on the global adidas launch IIN campaign out of california. that campaign got nice wide exposure. but what is as nicer is that artists pick up work SHYLO members do for brands. we like that SHYLO reconnects to many areas and connects brands with youth and art. the image up there shows the great dutch ARTIST MARC BIJL, doing some adjustment to david beckham. the picture is out of a book marc bijl did. FOAM MUSEUM AMSTERDAM asked SHYLO to be part of a expo under the theme: play. do in a museum what might be not allowed. yeah, sex might be the one you all think off, but done, or? skating in a museum might be fun, but also done already. paintballing is everywhere forbidden and never done in a museum. so SHYLO decided to PAINTBALL graphics and images of ARI MARCOPOLOUS and SHYLO. and we let people join in to splatter the walls for ex. with HARMONY KORINNE, DASH SNOW, VINCENT GALLO, CHLOE SEVIGNY etc. here already some fast preview images. more to come soon. if you try it in your living room you might better move out after. |

A new docu brand work for NIKE. Idea and directed by SHYLO's KAI ZASTROW and produced by SHYLO member ALEX from SINGAPORE. Footballer MESUT OEZIL and German musician JAN DELAY (yes, there are musicians in the land of sausages and they are not all joddeling in lederhosen, even if you wish they would). Also everyone out there: it's a funny language. they call it : GERMAN = DEUTSCH. if we get a bit time, we will translate for the rest of the planet. german-habour-slang into L.A.-south-central. uhhh. but enjoy the song and the pictures already now. L-A-R-G-E. oh yeah. derbe, derbe like they say in germany. also: more than a million hits on you tube spreading. thanks that you all seem to have fun with it and see football connected with yoru own life. und guten tag. |
